Cosplay Challenge III: Jenova
Jul. 30th, 2013 09:45 pmMy finished Jenova cosplay! It's not perfect (I'll be the first to admit I'm a tad slapdash with my costume making!) but it's the most ambitious project I've done and I'm overall happy with the result. Plus it was a great laugh wearing it and mucking about on stage and everything.
I'll probably edit/add to this post later, because there are still photos being uploaded this soon after the event. This can act as the collection of (hopefully decent) photos of the finished costume. My progress journal will be a separate entry, cause that bit is gonna get long. >>

(I spent so long on that stupid tank and so far have only found this one photo that it's in, argh!)

Also, I want it in writing that my mum is absolutely awesome. She had to cart around my tank and put on my giant-ass awkward wings and fix bits of my costume and make-up, then wait around for hours while I was backstage, and couldn't even walk anywhere with me because we could only take five steps before stopping for photos. But she didn't get fed up with any of it, and actually seemed to have a really good time! I know a lot of parents might not be that supportive of cosplaying, never mind be so amazingly willing to help out, so I am incredibly lucky. <3
